I read a post that a fellow had taken a new interstate battery, paint it black and install the red caps and it looked quite good. I've seen somebody somewhere makes a battery "top" for new batteries...you have a cover that fits over your new modern battery making the top look like an old battery with the caps. I think they have them for the GM cars, maybe Mopars soon too? But I can't remember where I saw them. Sorry for my memory loss, but you may want to do a web search for this type of "topper".
