Hi all my buddies motor needs rebuilding and the bores deglazing. We have a three stone hand honing tool but wondered what the correct technique for doing this is? What kind of drill speed , what type oil to use etc etc. any advice would be great!

If your just freshening up the engine and the seal was good and the bores are straight and your only going to rering it and change the inserts, them I would just use a ball hone. The 3 stone hone will remove more material than a ball hone(dingleberry)
