Do you know your compression ratio? Or how far the pistons in the hole? if it is mostly stockish, I would use the bigger Summit cam.

I've had good luck with Crane cams and Comp cams, but not that familiar with your application. What happened to the cam that you originally had in there?

number six exhuast lifter is toast, not sure what happened. it appears that no oil got to it while break in. Or i have a spring hanging up that might have a bind in it. I havent checked that out yet, all i know is that the cam should be replaced. doesnt make sense to replace one lifter on a already run cam. I could see a replacement for the cam anyways in the future, might as well do it now.

That was a really small cam for a 440!
The Voodoo 60302 or 60303 would be good and they are priced good too, $210 for cam and lifters through Summit Racing.

204/214 @050 is sure one baby cam. I think that's smaller on the intake side than the stock lo-po cam! Were you satisfied with that cam or did you want something a little more aggressive?

You can easily do the small summit cam K6400. If you want to change valve springs you can do the K6401 although IIRC some members reported using that cam with stock springs, but I wouldn't run worn out stock springs on anything.

I have aftermarket heads so I'm not positive on what the valve lift limit is for stock heads. I run the lunati voodoo 60303 and it's a great street cam.

what car, how heavy?

I'd go with a comp XE268 or lunati voodoo 60403, and use comp #911 springs. lighter car, I'd maybe look at an XE274.

when you put the new cam/lifters in, mark each lifter on top with a sharpie, and turn it over by hand to make sure they rotate.
