My interior lights are coming on when you close the door instead of when you open the door.Is it the door switches or the dome adjuster light switch?

Both doors or just one door? The switches are are ground switches so most likely the switch is grounding out when the door is closed

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Sounds like power is going to both sides of the circuit.

What happens when you remove the dim bulb?

Has this just started? If it has what have you done to the car most recently?

Didnt really notice before I did a little resto on the car had the dash out to put some speakers in the dash..Checked all the connectors to make sure I plugged everything correctly..but there where no lights in the back lights that keep coming on when the doors are closed..Now the 20 amp fuse keeps blowing..The panel fuse..

Well I changed the dimmer switch and put the right bulb in the side interior lights...Seems to be working correct now ( must of been the dimmer)..passenger light not working now have to trace it later..Working on putting new leaf spring bushings in now instead of going to Carlisle.. How FUN...
