OK this is more simple stuff for you guys.
First, does the fuse block face into, or away from the glove box? Does the mounting screw tap into the plastic, or fasten with a nut? I have a 68, but it is totally different.
On the steering wheel, is there supposed to be an insulator to keep the ground ring from shorting to the wheel? This one is shorting out and blowing the horn. I know the owner had the wheel restored and I am not sure how it is supposed to be.

Thanks,
Mark

Fuses on block face front seat, secures with bevel (black) headed screw that goes into the fuseblock (its threaded inside).

Not sure about the horn ring. What steering wheel is it?

Hmmm....I guess that the bracket next to the glove box is for something other than the fuse block. This is a new harness and there are no threads in the block.
The steering wheel is black plastic with a horn ring and bird center.

Thanks,
Mark

no , the bracket is for the fuseblock , the screw is probably selftapping ? Or does the screw go into the bracket , my bee is in storage and I can't remember ?

The screw goes thru the bracket into the fuse block

I just finished installing it.
I was told by my helper that there were no threads....but there were!

Thanks guys,
Mark
