I just finished restoring my 70 convert and the gas gauge won't work now. Any suggestions

Make sure the sending unit is grounded. Do a google search here for gas gauge. You will find all kinds of info.

Make sure that all the grounds are in place. My Duster had the same issue, and when I replaced all the grounds, the guage bagan working again.

ground the feed at the tank...turn key on..gauge will deflect to full if ok....if it does...wire/ground problem...if not...gauge went south
