I've got alot of slop in the console shifter of my 68 Coronet. I had the console cover off last night and it looks like the shifter bushings are shot. Where can I get some bushings to rebuild the shifter? Is anyone rebuilding them? Any help would be appreciated.

If they are just the round plastic ones you can still get those new at the dealership. The new ones are baby blue instead of white though...

He should look for a newer car part. They used them up through the 90's at least in the trucks.

Autozone has them also in the help section.
