just use the axel itself pulls em right out just did that last week on the fury! just put axel inside seal 1/2 inch or so and push axel front or back [against housing creating a wedge on seal] and it will grab and twist the seal right out... sometimes you need to do it multiple directions to get it out EASY! dan
I agree - no special puller needed and it can all be done in one operation as you pull the axle out of the housing. Just slide the splined end along the housing till you feel it hit the seal and then give it a prying motion and the seal should pop right out with the axle.

Then get a piece of plastic PCV that is about the same size as the seal outside edge.Use it to tap it in and seat it.Its cheap and easy.Rocky

Love it. Never thought about using PVC.

Remember when you have the axle out to clean and inspect the bearing then repack them with a good wheel bearing compatable grease. This is the only lubrication that they get. They ARE NOT lubricated from the rear end lube. also check this out:: http://www.moparts.org/Tech/Archive/axle/12.html
