I'm wiring a 1950 new yorker convertible. converting it over to 12 volt, as well as a 500 cube big block.

two quick questions.
1. anyone have a schematic for the stock wipers?
2. the top is electric, and has a 30 amp in line fuse to the pump. I'm thinking that 18 gauge should be plenty to run it. correct?

thanks
Michael

Try the Imperial club's website. Lots of good info over there.

I think 18 gauge tops out around 15 amps. I would look more at 12 gauge for a 30 amp motor like a top. What is it now?
