Is the steering column for a rim blow steering wheel bigger than one for a standard wheel or a wood grain wheel? I put a wood grain wheel on my road ruuner and the column end is a 1/2 " bigger in diameter. The car also has the reverse lock option, could that call for a differant column. Thanks

The '70 column with the "new" ignition switch is larger in diameter than the '69 version. There is a "filler piece" that fills the gap for a '70 woodgrain "sport" wheel.

BE&A has the part(s) - http://www.beaparts.com/list_items.aspx?body=B&cat=I&subcat=46 $$$
