astrobuf OP mopar Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 654 MN	HAs anyone attempted to modify an Eddy Air Gap manofold to allow a stock Thermoquad to be mounted on it. I have access to a nice mill and the skills to do it. Problems? Astrobuf So, are you really a Rocket Scientist?

HotRodDave I Live Here H Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 12,419 Kalispell Mt.	I did it with an adapter but I could not get an air cleaner on it. I was thinking I could have some alumium welded on the side to allow porting to fit the secondary throttle bore and I have to add material for the bolt holes. I don't think it would really be a big deal if you could weld aluminum and had a mill available. Have not done it yet but still plan to. I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

I'd like to keep my original TQ carb as the car is pretty much original all around, I just want the better manifold to go with my Eddy heads. Astrobuf So, are you really a Rocket Scientist?
