I went to my local napa and they don't carry dorman, they said car quest sold that brand but if I had a part number they could cross it over to a napa number

my napa still has the dorman line of fasteners

if he can cross referance it he can look it up in a napa part # book also, got to get them off the putor and into the books

go wack him in the head and get the book out

the one oldest clerk at my napa is a cert HD truck parts man...he is moved from store to store some times...I have drove 30 miles to see him when the other @#$%heads dont know how to look it up in the books or dont care to

I bust on them a lot saying ...If Ellis was here he,he would know cause he has it in his brain

he has gottin me the right parts the first time since I was 15 with my first mopar (he a mopar guy also)

good luck

Good to know!

These idiots here are always asking what it is for when I give them a part #.
What does it matter when it's a custom application like I am messing with anyways?

If I told them, the response would be

The parts guy tried to look it up in the book and said it wasn't listed

Two inch will work but the studs in my engine are 1 3/4 long and the Dorman part number for 1 3/4 is 675092 I went to o'reillys and they had them in stock when I gave them the number Got the number from a car quest dealer but it was going to be a week before he could get them

I got mine at a True Value hardware store. It doesn't have to come from an auto parts store to work. I'm sure Ace or most other hardware stores have the same studs.
