One of the grommets is tore on my cast aluminum Mopar valve covers. It's for my evac breather, and I can't find one at the parts store and I don't see one in Jegs or Summit. Any ideas on where to get a couple? Thanks, Clint

Try KMJ Performance, When I bought my valve covers they had them. Are they a oddball size?

Some of the grommets used are plain old mother mopar, and have part numbers. Look on your old grommet and look for numbers. If not call me here at the dealship 877-370-2901 ask for Tim. I bet I can help you find one at you local dealership.

The normal MP breather grommet for that is P5007921.

Personally I like the OEM Mopar grommets a little better, which is (no P) 2946079. The only problem with the OE grommet is, it doesn't fit the hole in the valve cover very well....the hole needs to be opened up slightly. That, and the grommet has to be stretched a bit to go into the cast cover. But once they're in they aren't going to tear, leak, or move around for many years.
