Just a thought, but if you're going to go to all the work of installing a new cam and lifters in the car, I'd call Hughes or one of the other Mopar specialist shops and ask them to recommend a cam for your set-up. That way, at least you will be optimizing the cam for your combination. Put in a new tru-roller timing chain and lifters and have your distributor advance curve optimized if you haven't already.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

I've got one in my 318, no idea how it was installed but it runs great. Going to swap it into my 408 stroker when it's ready and see what it does...
A .528 in a 318??
How powerful is it? What else is done to you're 318?? What gears??
