I've done a lot of research regarding (several) suppliers and restorers of E-Body Dash Pads (Just Dashes, Ultimate Rides, Year One, etc) but the one I was optimistic about (Ultimate Rides from El Paso, Tx) seems to no longer be in business. At least the phone number (877-327-4723) is no longer valid.

1.) Has anyone ever tried restoring their own Dash Pad (repairing the cracks, filling in and painting) ?

2.) Does anyone know if Ultimate Rides is still in business and is there a good contact number or email address ?

Thanks in advance
Mike

3. Pray that some one else starts making them correctly

I'm going with Option 3

Ultimate Rides is doing a '70 Challenger 1-speaker A/C pad for me.

I've seen some similar comments here in different threads .

Since my dash pad is cracked too - I wonder what the issue is with the ones that are offered on the market??? Are they bad or just not correct?

After all these years having a 440 I realized that this means having an attitude... and a budget.

Yes with the cheap vinyl repair kits. Fill the crack, color match the plastic, apply and iron. They never lasted more than a short time if you get the pattern grain matched. Don't bother

Nope, I used Just Dashes with a steel core I provided. The dash is very nice, orange, 3 speaker with air. The only issue is the stitching is not great.

Thanks in advance
Mike
