I'm not saying they don't exsist but I think those were a short lived product of years gone by. You'd probably do better just getting some Aluminum heads and doing some port work. If you want a "hemi" for the looks then that's a different animal all togther.

I don't think they make those heads anymore. My opinion has always been that if you want the look of a hemi, open your wallet wide and be willing to spend the bucks. I've never owned a 426, due in large part to the fact that I will not spend that much on a street motor......

I'll go out on a limb and guess those are really expensive. Plus w/ numbers like this "Chamber Volume: 168 cc" You'd better get some good pistons that are right at the deck.

all he needs to do is buy a hemi piston wit hthe right pin for the rod he is using and in the bore size of his block , not very hard or super expensive , compared to the heads .

right on, I just didn't want him to think he could just slap those on a 440 buttom half and roll. Anybody have a price on those things anyway?

The heads and special rocker gear used to be $5kish, then you have to buy the Hemi specific intake , exhuast and cam/pushrods, plus add oil return lines back to the bottom of the block.

Good Luck on getting Stage V to respond to either your telephone calls or e-mails. I tried for an entire year and gave up and bit the bullett for a real Hemi.

Good Luck...

My engine builder has built a couple with the conversion heads. Pretty trick and not hurting for hp on those if you can get a set....LMK if you want his number.
