Does anyone know of a good Mopar mechanic in the Houston TX area? I'm specifically looking for someone to help me time the car ('69 RR w/ 440/6) and adjust the 6-bbl setup.

I want to do the work myself but I cannot get the car to idle in order to check the timing and I'm afraid I'm going to do more harm then good trying to adjust things myself (I'm a newb).

I tried adjusting the idle screw on the primary carb this morning but it didn't do much good....car still wouldn't idle.

Suggestions?

Nobody knows someone that could help me out in Houston?

I spent some time again yesterday adjusting the idle so that I could get the engine timed properly. Unfortunately the engine would either idle too low (~700rpm) and die quickly or it would idle too high (~1300rpm).

When I took it out for a drive it runs decently but under WOT there is a momentary bog as the secondaries come in.

I want/need to learn how to fix this but don't really know where to start.
