I would use a Poly mount if for no other reason then I heard using a solid could cuase the tail shaft housing to break.

I have a full tube chassis it has motor plate, mid plate and solid trans mount and have had 0 problems the key to running a solid trans mount is no chassis flex.

best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

Had a rubber mount for 20 years. Now with the B1 power I've broken two belhousings in under 50 passes. Went to a solid mount last week. We'll see what happens.

Yeah, front and rear 1/4" aluminum plates, plus engine limiters on both sides.

Put enough power through it, and a tube chassis will flex.

yeah I suppose that is true but spoke with a local chassis builder that builds some high end stuff and he said that is the only way they leave his shop and I am talking stuff with 1500+ hp so thats more than I will ever throw at this car.
