After getting a taste of transbraking it this weekend i'd like to use one on my 64 but am afraid of loading the indy crossram up with fuel vapors and blowing it sky high. Anybody transbraking with the indy crossram intake? What rpm are you leaving at?

Thanks!

If you do go that route I would use an air (co2)throttle - I would definitely not use two step with that intake. I have used the acd throttle control on a single four and it worked real good. I think i still have the air cylinder and a tank in the garage on the shelf. just checked still have - yours if you want it

I've been running a brake with the Indy Crossram and two eldebrocks for a couple of years, never been a problem, but I've never had issues on start up that I've heard about either, mine starts up and idles real nice, it is better starting than my old original Max intake. I have a two step set at 3600 RPM, I don't stay on the two step very long, I floor it after my lights start coming down.
