anyone had experience with the 318/340 main cast cranks? i know the eagles are less expencive but are they as good as the mpp units? i just dont want to "cheap out" and have to start allover cus the crank let go. any input?
I'm WAY too baked to drive to the devil's house.

MP are made by Scat...so find the best price on a Scat or MP...same crank

What is your expected horsepower output? If it's under 450 (which is easy to reach with good heads) then the Eagle cast is an option. If you expect to exceed that figure at all, ever, I would go with a better crank like a K1.
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
