I insatalled the wastegate finally, didnt do much testing though, Boost still went to 15 when i did a little scratch when i parked it.

I have the wastegate referenc line on the bottom tied in to the referenced fuel pump hose from the carb hat, and the top nipple left open to atmoshere.

I think thats right?

And the screw on top is all the way out, 14-17 I think is what the spring is setup for.

Your waistegate and boost gauge should be hooked up under the carb right into the intake and the regulator should be referenced off the hat.

Do this and you'll be good.
The line off the top of the wastegate is there to let you slip a little boost on top of the valve. That will increase pressure. Be sure to use some sort of adjustable valve. If you dump unrestricted boost pressure in there (like taking a line directly off the carb hat) it will never open. That's a beautiful way to nuke an engine.

I prefer the wastgate to be refrenced before the carb as it helps control part throttle boost.

Yes I have it referenced to the hat,

Played with it a little tonight, backed timing off to 25 and set wastegate to about 10-12.

It's sort of a pooch now LOL!!!!!

I was thinkin a bout pullin it and throwin it on the dyno to see what she's got.
