So I'm peicing together this 440 for my car, and along with that am using an aftermarket aluminum water pump housing. I got an aftermarket OEM-type replacement temp sender that's fairly thin with fine threads on it, but the w/pump housing on the driver's side has an even smaller hole in it with fine threads.. [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean]?

And on the heater hose side of the housing, it's got 3 holes.

Does a different style sender exist for the passenger side of the housing? I am running rally guages in the car..

I went through this same thing. On the driver's side you're looking for a 1/8 thread and getting the 1/4 thread.

First what is the connection? Is it a spade, or a bullet? If it's a spade you may need a TS-18 or TU-22 which is a bullet style. Also check an Airtex 1T1010.

These may or may not be correct resistance. The thread size will not determine that.

The passenger side... you may have to get a pipe peice that adapts the two. Did the same thing on my car. Check the pic-

very clever dinner. appetizing food fit neatly into interesting round pie.

It should have the snap on cap that attaches to the srew-like end of the sensor
