I will have to eyeball that when I can go to some place that does not have this dial-up ISP ..

A couple of people have done this .. on guy is in-process of a conversion of one of the MH's like in my avatar.

Me ? ... I will just stick with a tweaked 413.

I've found some travco's with 413's, 440's, 318's. But I think the cummins would be great for the RV...

I know, crazy.

NO ... not crazy at all. But that swap is big-bux ...and would require a front-suspension UPgrade.

Does that vid show what this guy did on the dog-house ? .. it would have to be longer.

They say that if there is a big block in there, a cummins would fit without issue. Here's a guy who shows what he did to put a cummins in.

Several years ago I thought about buying a Revcon. They came with a 440 in the rear with the axle turned around backwards. This Revcon had a 6BT in place of the 440, but he was wanting more than I had. It did look like a neat installation.

While not much sounds better than a 12 valve without a muffler, he isn't going to make many friends pulling into the campground in the wee hours. I would muff it.

Yeah, I agree it needs an exhaust system... but how cool would that thing be with a MoPower Tour Wrap on it?

I converted and own the 1975 Travco with 1995 Cummins in the "Webshots" link above. The Cummins and transmission weighed only 180 pounds more than the 440-3 Dodge and tranny. No suspension mods required, no mods to doghouse needed, but that didn't make it an easy job.

BTW, you would have been looking at an FMC. Revcons were FWD with Olds or Chevy power.

Ha, that's awesome.

There was actually one for sale on here... I thought about it.
