mayhem148 OP member M Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 79 grant louisiana	i have a 1996 dodge ram altenator and was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for it. the wiring harness caught on fire and i want to wire it up direct. figured someone on heremight have a simple diagram for it. it doesnt look to much different. the truck is gettin a carb on it since the harness is shot.

Andrewh master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,675	it is pretty much like the two wire square back alt. I even have one running with the old single field voltage reg by grounding one of the wires coming out of the plug.
