Hey Mike - you mean real, actual CC production based judging instead of the fantasy shop judging you get @ Carlisle now?
It's not ICCA judging but it's not billed as such. I know they have good guys making a sincere effort to judge the SME cars. It's a hot, thankless job. No judging is going to be perfect or suit everybody but I hate to see a small-minded comment like yours. Go ahead and get your car ICCA judged but don't knock Carlisle's efforts to provide a good service for guys who want their cars judged when nobody else stepped up.

I have a pretty good understanding of things. I was on Rogers' Chrysler Standard of Originality (CSO) crew. I think it was more like Roger quit because he wasn't satisfied with his arrangement with Carlisle Productions. I don't know if you had a bad experience or are just making a gratuitous statement? I didn't like what you implied because I've been helping with SME for years and I see a serious group of experienced guys and mostly satisfied customers. I know there is a proper effort made given the time allowed. It is not the same as CSO or ICCA and the participants know it. It's not the idea of ICCA judging, it's just the tone of your comment. We are all in it to enjoy and appreciate the cars. Carlisle has gone a long way to making the event as first class as possible. I'm willing to leave it at that.
