I just installed a new repro B body 26" rad today from Glen Ray Radiators. WOW! This is probably the best repro part I have ever installed in 25 years of Mopar Restoration. The tanks and stampings are perfect the anchors are perfect the fit is perfect the core is perfect the paint finish is perfect the packaging is perfect the service from Glen Ray was beyond perfect and it came with all the correct mounting bolts, clips, hose clamps and even a correct repro rad cap. What else can I say? WOW!
They are PERFECT in every way! I bought one of the very first "956" radiators he made . Still going STRONG!

Excellent, but do you paint the petcock, thats the question.
Thanks for the kind words. I have put a lot of time into r&d to get this far. And yes, I do paint the petcock. The guy that actually assembled them at Blackstone has yet to call me back to confirm painted/not painted. His boss who I know had told me in the past that they were painted as part of the assembly as he recalls and petcocks on the assembly line where for leakers/damaged ones. But then again, were you actually there to know for sure???

I didnt know they did restorations, what is the cost vs purchasing a new one?
They quoted me a price between $500-$600 to recore my 054 radiator vs $1100 for new reproduction.

Delt with Bob to have one of my '69 BB A-body 065 rad restored. It came out great and has been in the car for about 3 years now with no problems. It resides in this car! Thinking about bringing another 1 to Bob at Carlisle to have done for my current project! The price back then was like $500.
I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave
