The tag code on a '69 'cuda is M47. I'm not sure for the later Dusters, but i'll look in the "white book." I've never seen a Duster with them on it, only in an original magazine ad. They look cool on the Duster though, gotta be a rare car with that factory option!!! Dave

I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

Here's an example, and it's an origina 74 360 4 speed car, scoops are missing but you can see where they were, blackout on hood is correct for the year.

So what is the tag code number for the scoops on this car? It's hard to read, i don't really see M47.

Neither of which are on the '74 tag shown. Should/did this 360 4-speed Duster have scoops and the hood paint when new?

Scott,

I saw the pics of the 360 duster and the outlines of where some scoops were.Don't they look like they were way too far forward?

A few years ago there was a 73 duster twister for sale here on moparts that had the scoops. Its the only 73-74 duster I have ever seen with the scoops.

I don't know anything about the example I showed, It was posted on the WIW page and it APPEARED to be an original looking car in respect to it's paint scheme and scoop location (too far forward? Maybe, tough to tell from the pic angles), but of course that may not be the case. I threw it up to show what they looked like. As far as what was available in 74, I couldn't tell you, I'm not that familiar with 74 Duster options yet.

The car shown the photos is the car I am dealing on right now.

The car appears to be pretty much original other then a swapped 1970 340 engine. The current owner said the person he got the car from removed the OEM scoops.
Is it original?
I have no idea.

I'm suppose to pick up the car this weekend, but not sure I can come up with the funds that fast.
