My 8 year old son Michael asked me to post this video of his First racing season. He says since his car has a Pentastar on the side, that it is a mopar, I agree. Its kinda long, but I hope u enjoy it anyway. Its a 94 Spitzer and has been an excellent starter car for us. His best time so far has been 10.08 @ 62mph.

Looks great! My oldest,(9) has been asking for a Jr. for over a year now. Wonder if he'll get a dragster before I get my Dart built? lol

Mine had no interest while his sister who's 10years older was racing....so we sold it all....Now he's 11....says I want a jr now....*POOF*....Money genie says "Buy him a JR."...I say YES DEAR.....

Of course you have to run and get a golf cart to tow it right?????.... We went from no JR to this in 3 weeks!...And it just got a new MyChron 4 660 last night... New clutch and driven on the way from Gaged....I buy new slicks for my car and hand the recept to the money genie and she gives me...THE LOOK !

And no went don't cruise the pits with those banners on it...it was for our local parade....

Nice setup Chassisman! I worry that I'll scrape around enough money to get him started, and after a year, he'll decide he doesn't want to race anymore.

P.S. If you ever find a money genie that can make money appear, send her my way please! I've only been able to find the ones that make it disappear!

I had the same fears...luckily the boy is addicted after the first stab of the gas pedal.Appearance isn't everything...I bought that car for 3500.00...it came with a PM1 3.750 motor that was brand new...I traded the PM1 for a guys running motor/1500.00 cash...So I got a running Motivational Tubing suspension car for 2000.00....The golf cart has 3000.00 in up grades done to it...I paid 3800.00 for the cart....So I'm 5800.00 into the whole set up....Well...now add in the clutch and MyChron....Darn..it does sneak up on you.

As for the money genie....She's the reason we have what we have and the reason we bargan shop...She's a shrewd business woman...and our CPA is top notch....

I feel your pain. I had to think a little ahead when I bought my trailer 2 years ago and the golf cart too. I knew this was coming so I bought in stages so I wouldn't break the bank all at once.hahaha.

Nice guys.

Mine started when he was 14, and in the Barracuda.

Well I thought my 40ft trailer would be enough...but it's got living quarters...so this weekend I made a rack to hold the JR over my Dart....Now WHERE THE HECK is the golf cart supposed to go?...It's bad enough my wife is racing too...so Now the 64 Valiant...the 68 Dart...and the JR rig all have to make the trip to our "home" track....128 miles one way.... Been asking the money genie for a stacker and toterhome....she says once the new house closes escrow and the new 60x120 shop goes up...then toter and stacker....

At least you got a manual

I got one of the first 4 660's when they came out and having never had a logger before I was

After playing with it on the car I got it figured out. It's real easy to use.
