The dash pad on my '68 is perfect, and I'm hoping to keep it that way, does anybody have any tricks to keep it from cracking? I have been told that Armor-All will make it crack after it has stopped being used on a regular basis. Thank you in advance.

I have heard that about Armour all also. I have also heard, but never tried, baby oil helps preserves the vinyl The worst thing to do is clean inside of windshield with Windex or any other glass cleaner containing ammonia without covering you dash pad first. Ammonia is murder on vinyl. Dries it out.

I know I'm insignificant but I didn't know I was "nobody"

I tried Armor All one time on my Charger's dash pad. came out a few days later and several cracks. Been using Son of a Gun ever since.
