I bought my wife a Journey last year from a dealer being forced out of business, and she wants to have foglights added to it. I can get the kit and correct switch shipped to me for $155, but in the instructions, it says that the computer has to be reflashed to recognize the foglights. Has anyone done this? I'd like to know how much it will cost to have that done so I can tally up the conversion. Thanks in advance.

It is a simple procedure for the dealer.

They will likely charge 1/2 hour labor to do it.

Labor rates vary, mostly by location, but figure about 50 bucks.

Gary.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it wouldn't take long at all. They'll be more expensive than if it was factory equipped, but I got a smoking deal on the car, so I can afford it.
