I realize to some this is going to sound stupid but I have never seen a car battery show anything less than around 9volts unless it's frozen, busted, out of water, or something major like that. This one is about 3 months old and been sitting in my vette. How in the world does a battery get drained that bad? It's not even seen cold for it to of froze. Could a car even have a bad enough short in it to drain a battery that far down if it sits for a month? After I got it home it sit for a week or so and started right up so it just seems odd for the battery to be that dead now. Could something of chewed the wiring to make that bad of a short? I've had cars with dead shorts in them before but nothing ever like this.
What's the chances of just the battery going bad outa the blue?
Yes I know this is a mopar site but I normally avoid chevy and ford forums as I find the people here tend to be alot more helpful and knowledgeable.
