if you drill the block for the oil passage to the heads it would work
318 went roller in 85-up 360 went roller 89 up to the magnum in 92,some early magnum blocks are drilled for the LA style oiling but the head blocks the passage at the head gasket
so they may have had an early 92-93 mag block to start with..you could use it
or
best bet is to get an 89 pre-mag tbi 360 engine for roller block to use your LA stuff on it
i have a stock 88-360 headed 318 cop engine that was roller block but with a flat tappet cam
the 1990 318 engine I got the roller gear from oiled both ways
thru the roller lifters and hollow PRs...and thru the block/heads to the rocker shafts
so when I went roller cam in the cop engine it now oils both ways
early 85 carbed 318 roller lifters are not oil-thru lifters, they went to oil thru rollers when they all went tbi,IIRC,and started tooling up for magnum engines in 92
I think the mag roller lifter will work in the pre-mag blocks as well( i have not got a hold of a set yet to see for myself)
so pick you pre-mag rollers carefully if you need oilers and hollow rods
if you want a mech FP on it,make sure to order your roller cam with the long nose on it for the FP ecentric
any of the stock roller lifters will work in a roller block with any of the "retro" cams
FYI..
I use a lunati voodoo 60710 roller cam
the comp 901-16 springs cover all the lunati sb cams, flat or rollers, single with damper, drop on with stock seals...lunati springs are doubles with damper, need machine work,PC seals to go on sb heads
