We picked up a new Challenger RT a few days before I deployed, my wife has fallen in love with it and wants to start bracket racing it after I get back, she has never raced before and is really excited, so am I. Anyone had anyluck with these, it's an Auto with Hemi, bone stock right now? Sounds like a season with that would be a lot of fun taking turns with it. Were thinking of getting some drag radials and see what happens.
Thanks,
Curtis

This fella has.

He was from Australia but seems to be taking on America now. Not sure what his stuff is like. Most people over here think he's a tool.

call diablo motorsports and get the programer and 180* thermostat. You can run the 93 performance tune or create your own. Leave it in "D" and have fun. You will have to get used to the lag it is drive by wire so the old school leave on the last yellow is more like leave before the last yellow flashes.

Good luck in your deployment and Thanks. I cant remember who but there is a guy on here running a Hemi Charger I believe and it run 11's with just a few mods. I dont remember what all he has done but maybe he will chime in. Ron

Mopar Action ran a series on a Charger New Hemi (as I remember). They got quite a bit more out of it. One thing they learned... engine mods plus slicks were too much for the stock axle shafts. They upgraded to some aftermarket axles and no problems. Maybe you can get the back issue.

I believe there's a way to eliminate the drive by wire lag, which will probably be good for the consistency required for bracket racing.

you can load the converter up some and it helps. I'll be re-programing my 06 mag AWD R/T. The 93 performace tune dropped me from 14.52 to 14.17. Looking to break into the 13's w/ a 160* stat and some custom tuning. Not bad for an almost 5000lb car.

You can do the key trick, which eliminates most of the lag and definitely makes them more responsive.
