I have the car torn down for a week or so to do a couple of things I have been putting off....plus I don't race when it gets to 100 degrees. Almost learned the hard way last year on the 4th of July racing in 105 degree heat.

Thanks Brian....would have been great to meet up  This was kind of a last minute decision to leave when I did 
I just pulled back into the hotel and noticed the temp gauge on the mirror reading 104*  Florida's 98* is all of a sudden sounding good

Thanks Kim....the pleasure was all mine You gonna be at the track tonight...?????
Will definately post up the build pics....just got to get my son's truck painted and out the door first...my wife already gave up on ever parking in the garage again....lol

It was a real treat there big guy. I hope the Valient turns out as planned. The welcome mat is always out in our little corner of the nation. I missed you at the track, did you see the "Sundown" AA/FA run that 3.96? And they said they were nuts for running a Mopar Wedge with a blower and nitro in the tank.  Yessir, a 512 B-1 on nitro. It runs like a scalded dog.

That's awsome. Didn't think they would have any Mopar powered cars there, much less a wedge type motor.

I remember seeing that B1 altered a couple of years ago. He seemed surprised that anyone recognized the B1 heads. I thought they were running methanol at that time. We went up there to watch a friend (Nancy Matter) run her TA/FC.

Thanks Rick and no I left a little after 9:00 right after the final qualifier....some badazz Iron out there for sure especially with those temps, can't even begin to guess what the DA was nevermind the track temps....cool venue, wish I hadn't had to get up and scoot for home

Made it to FL staying the night in Pensicola...should be back at the house by 3:00 tomorrow
