Seriously most anywhere in Florida World Class sport fishing is minutes away. I am 20 mins from the Gulf and can be at Boca Grande in less the 1 hour.
Boat has 175hp, it is a 20ft Mako center console. It is really the perfect size for what I want to do. And under $5k with nice tandem axle trailer just couldn't resist! 
Boca Grande is a great place to fish, Tarpon capital of the world
Man you got a bargin on that boat.

Nice boat. We have a winter place right down the road from Boca Grand and land on Little Gasperilla Island. I've only been out fishing in the gulf a few times with friends. We have an old boat down there that's not very dependable that we're thinking of donating to charity. Someday I want to get a better boat down there but I'm a little leary of boating in the gulf. We've heard the "Hitler" rumor for years. Didn't somebody supposedly catch miss pregnant Hitler a few yeas ago in the pass?

Run a cool vest. I did this weekend. It helps lower your core temperature and I felt great. Even sitting in the car suited up with double layer pants jacket and gloves on. No problem. It was 96 deg out today and 95% humidity out.

very cool killerbee! Look me up when you come back down and we will take you out! We don't go far offshore as there is no real need to. Plenty of fish close by.
