spent much time here??

Unlike you all summer is my winter, ie, downtime. Time with family and friends then back to racing fall, winter, spring.

trust me I know all the cliches regarding boat ownership have owned a dozen or so. Sold my last one in 05 and have been wanting one like this!

and process it like cooking oil and burn it in your diesel...

Seriously most anywhere in Florida World Class sport fishing is minutes away. I am 20 mins from the Gulf and can be at Boca Grande in less the 1 hour.
Boat has 175hp, it is a 20ft Mako center console. It is really the perfect size for what I want to do. And under $5k with nice tandem axle trailer just couldn't resist!

They caught a 14' scaled in at 1100# 2 years ago
We fish for sharks but mostly at night. Tarpon are in right now, Snook are heating up, Mackeral in droves. Grouper, Snapper and Redfish most of the summer

Love fishing for black tips at night...hook up on a 5-6 footer with light tackle and it doesn't get much better, plus they eat good chunked up and marinated on the grill.... As for Boca Grande, good luck with that, better bring plenty of rigs....that tiny pass gets busy....ask me how I know

You ever want to trailer it down to the ten thousand islands give me a shout, I know some great spots down there...

Will do! My buddy Steve in the pic with my daughter is former FWC officer. He has forgotten more then I'll ever know about fishing.
We have been fishing the pass for the last 2 weeks and with great success. So many Tarpon they are bumping into each other! Bunch of us are planning an overnighter on Caya Costa in the next few weeks.

Boca Grande is a great place to fish, Tarpon capital of the world

I've only been out fishing in the gulf a few times with friends.
We have an old boat down there that's not very dependable that we're thinking of donating to charity. Someday I want to get a better boat down there but I'm a little leary of boating in the gulf.

We've heard the "Hitler" rumor for years.
Didn't somebody supposedly catch miss pregnant Hitler a few yeas ago in the pass?

Run a cool vest. I did this weekend. It helps lower your core temperature and I felt great. Even sitting in the car suited up with double layer pants jacket and gloves on. No problem. It was 96 deg out today and 95% humidity out.

very cool killerbee! Look me up when you come back down and we will take you out! We don't go far offshore as there is no real need to. Plenty of fish close by.
