What is the difference between a P4529102 pump and the currently listed P5007643AB water pumps? Is the first listed here a number that is now superceeded? My searches are coming up empty on that first part number.

Wow! those things are expensive! Is there a reason to get a Mopar performance pump? It does have shorter fins though...

Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first.
Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Aluminum local auto parts store $29 Although if I had issues (big gear or smaller crank pulley) I would want one with a cavitation plate. I just got this this week. I figured if it was sold at the local store the are literary thousands on the road.

I had to call around for them, GMB was the standard replacement water pump for a long time and NAPA had them, even Pepboys and Kragen had them, but they are not the standard replacement any more. I guess there are cheaper iron units out here. You have to call around. I got mine at http://www.hubautoparts.com When you call the local stores ask for they stock or sell GMB and if they can do price and availability for a GMB-120-1200 Summit has them for $33 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GMB-120-1200/ But if your local store has them maybe they can order the GMB-120-1200P I think the P is the performance with a anti-cavitaion plate.

I was asking because af a package deal that is for sale locally on a housing, pump, & t-stat housing. Even though no one has answered my question about the specific part numbers you guys have provided good information and links to suppliers. Thank you for your responses. I would still like to find out what that first part number is.

Not a bad deal but if you know about the thermostat housings toss or ebay it if it is chrome. If not do a search here first before even considering it. Is it a MP housing? Because if it is a 440 source... http://store.440source.com/Aluminum-water-pump-Housing-combo-deal-Drivers-Side/productinfo/200-1086/

It is an MP housing. I have read the post on here about the 440 source housing and ....
Thanks for the link though it certainly gives me a price perspective.
And I agree with you on the chrome t-stat housing.

There is a water pump warehouse on Ebay that sells the GMB pump for $22.
Nothing wrong with the 440 source housing.
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.
