Is anyone running a procharger F-1 or similar on a E body Hemi cuda. I would like to put one on my 528. Just asking because there is so much info out there, but is very technical. I am wanting the water injection system because of the 10.75 compression. Talking to Bob at the supercharger store, it is going to cost around 8500 with power steering.

No experience with prochargers here, but you should try posting this in the forced induction sub-forum instead of the q&a section.

What I do know of the F-1's is they are capable of putting out a TON of horsepower. What are your goals for your 528?

It' just a weekend street car. Never leaves garage unless it is sunny and no rain in forecast.

I built this Hemi for a 70 E-Body and the drivers side front fender had to be "dimpled" to clear the blower. By dimpled I mean a dinner plate size piece removed and a dish shaped piece welded back in. This was not a problem since the car was not painted yet, but if the car was already painted you would have an issue.

thats a beatiful engine. looks a lot like mine. If i could figure out how to send pics i would send one. What size carb and intake. I have the indy dominator intake and 1050 holley dominator carb. Anyway, i need to get my carb lower for clearance. carb diameter to big for the intake from procharger. Will have to go smaller intake and carb. What is your compression and how much boost are you using. Bob from the supercharger store did not mention that i would have to cut the inner fender? Car was just painted last year. Also, i would hate to have to remove the engine for modifications. Do you have the water injection and what procharger is it? that is

This is a 472" street motor with 9:1 static, at 8 lbs on 91 octane pump gas it made 825 HP. The carb is a 750 from CSU. With different pulleys at 13 lbs with 98 octane it made right at 1000 HP. No water injection. It's an F1.

I saw no way to do it without modifying the inner fender. The air cleaner is already slammed against the valve cover.

What is the difference between the D1SC and the F1? How do you determine when you need water injection to keep from burning pistons? The more i read the more confused i get. Check the picture. You can see how tight it is now.
