Anyone recommend a spring for these heads that have the same 1.55 O.D and I.D. as the springs that indy supplies with these heads?

Do not want to buy new locators, retainers, etc..

Cam is .620 with 272 duration. Drag race only on a 493. Harland 1.5 rockers.

Thanks in advance.

You neglected to specify if it's a flat-tappet or a roller...

Unless somebody else happens to know exactly what the dimensions of the parts that your particular heads happened to have come from Indy with, it's kind of a crap shoot.

It would be easier to get a spring recommendation based on your constraints if you could take the measurements of your current retainers, etc.

Thanks for the response guys. I've decided to just go with a new set of manley's and get new locators and retainers anyhow.

Can't wait to get this beast back together and get runnin. Last outing was the March Meet. Found a burnt pushrod and the next thing you know the heads are off, new rockers, pushrods, valve job, now the springs. Typical eh? It's all good though. I had the heads flowed and got some good info for the future cam upgrade!!!
