I already asked about the anti cavitation plate but does anybody have back to back test? I just made one from 1/16 in steel and was wondering if I am wasting my time to weld it on my pump. I had one on my old pump from flowkooler they rivited it on close to the hub(Bad Job).You can see where it started to move and the vanes rubbed or vibrated against the plate.Just some thoughts would be appreciated.

You are not waisting your time. I welded one on a stock 6 blade pump and it made a difference. My 408 now stays on the stat where before it used to creep off the stat during prolonged idling.
