I don't know if it's the camera angle or not, but, it looks like the PS pulley does not line up with the inner most groove of the crank pulley.
The water pump, crank, and PS pump pulleys should all line up.

The pic helped thanks...but

My issue appears to be wrong yr water pump housing??? or wrong pulley on steering pump

I just swapped steering pumps with another one I had a 74 318 out of challenger. The power steering pump is still slightly out more than crank pulley. Took a level and the water pump pulley is slightly forward from the crank as well.....taking pics

I have had this misalignment on several small block cars. I wish I had an untouched survivor to compare to! I have had to use various shims to square up the P/S pump over the years. It could be that with the age of these cars, brackets get slightly bent, parts get lost during disassembly and we forget how it goes together. It can be fit together with a little work, you may have to get creative though.

I am sure I can shave something here and there or add a spacers/washer to tweak......finally getting around to driving the car again and i get this issue

Mine is a survivor under the hood. If more pictures would help tell me what you need and I'll take some more.

lloks right to me

the alt belt is from crank to alt to by pass the a/c..it looks to me

if you grind the triangle ribbing on the wp neck you can get 2 belts from crank to the alt

I done that a lot

the ps/wp belt is the one to the front and a single groove

there is a tube spacer that goes in the brackets on the ps pump..looks to be in place from the one pic

may check the thickness of the belts, pulleys wear and the belt starts riding down in the groove to much and will cause them to jump off or roll over

they stretch to much when over tight also

by looking at the rust color in the crank pully and ps pully the look like the ride to deep in the grooves

try a thicker HD belt that fills up the groove and not ride on the bottom of it

I like top cog belts my self but have used some green looking HD ones before when I had belt problems on my sb

looking at the straight edge on all of them the look to line up to me very good so I would look at the belt itself

get some good ones and not the cheapies IMHO
