I haven't had luck finding a decent custom exhaust shop in my area and was looking at the complete TTI system for my 71' Duster 340.

I already have TTI Headers so it makes it easier at that end, any experiances?

I dont have hedders but I am using the TTI max wedge set up from the manifolds back , if the hedder set up is the same then they should be nice , I like mine alot.

How soon are you looking at buying/installing the exhaust?

The reason I ask is that I'm about to install a TTI exhaust system (2.5 inch) on a Duster.

We dropped the engine in last week and installed the TTI headers.

We should be installing the exhaust tomorrow evening.

I can take pics and let you know how the install goes.

As long as you don't mind the system not using any of the stock hanger locations you should be ok .

I hqve a complete TTI exhaust system on my W2 67 Barracuda. It is more work than stock heads as the prmary tubes are 1 7/8". If you don't want to cut tubes to get the right fit, then use the H pipe system. I don't think there is much diference on a street car. The X pipe has mutiple pieces between the header and muffler because of the X. Once I layed it out and READ the instructions, it went right on.

Not too worried about what hangers they use as it's a modifed car anyways.

I've just had a few monkeys hack on the exhaust system and it turned into an issue when I went to change my convertor and could pull the trans due to the x pipe placement. When I went to pull the center of the exhaust section out after I asked for it to be Band Clamped and not welded they had welded half the pipe and used U-clamps.

So I ended up cutting it off becuase the U clamps dented the pipe so badly.

Installed the TTI exhaust on the Duster today.

Everything lined up pretty well. Had to cut about an inch off the H-pipe crossover pipe (too long), but the instructions said it would probably be needed.
Also had to cut an inch off the header collector adapters to get the front to back length right.
A pipe cutter made that easy on both counts.
The only other possible problem I saw was that the R/S collector exhaust clamp was really close to the trans X-member so I use an air hammer to dent in the x-member a little. The L/S has lots of room so it won't be an issue there even if the engine torques that side up.

This time went alot better than my last two experiences with TTI exhaust.
An install on a 70 Coronet Hemi with TTI was a pain because two of the pipes weren't swedged out large enough to slip over the other pipe. It meant a trip to find an exhaust shop to have it done.
The other was a 63 Plymouth Max-wedge TTI exhaust that most every pipe had to be cut because the were too long.
