want to add one of these two shifters to the order. it won't be any other make or model just either one of these. anyone have experience with them? thanks

I have the pro ratchet... love it... 2 fingers to flip
it to the next gear... if I remember right the other
has a pistol grip which might be nice but you dont need
your whole hand to shift it.... JMO

Have one in the Charger and had one in my '67 R/T. Never had a minutes trouble from either.

yea think i'm gonna get the pro ratchet, plus it's cheaper and i believe simpler to use...ok it's in the cart. i gotta hammer all this stuff out ASAP i want to get going on this mess. i'm fretting over the fuel system right now. heck for this engine the HV mechanical would do the trick but i'm going to get a low end electric. thinking about the edelbrock billet pump

Pro ratchet here also. Witha rev man valve body, its very easy to add a air shifter if you want to.
