I want to bring in some bare big block engine blocks and 727"s to match to Australia. About half a dozen or so. Any body know the best place to get them maybe a phone number? Plenty of the x brand here but no Mopar parts and I would like to turn that around , appreciate the help. Thanks.
(They will be shipped out of San Fran next month and going to a good home.)

You mean all in one place? I would be looking in our very own moparts swap section:

hmmm i can see why you want a few spares, 850hp ain't gonna last long in a stock block.

You can try Doug Snieder (spelling?) in Las Vegas Nevada.
http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/pts/1744650495.html

or GTX John in Boulder City Nevada.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, in fact this is unlawfuls race only forum look around. You have to do the best with what you have.
Oh! and thanks for the help.

If Doug and John don't have enough, I have a few 440's, 400's and 383's, a ton of heads, and a few other trinkets. I'm in Henderson right next door to Las Vegas.
Just send me a PM or email me, thanks

not knocking your effort but don't you think it would be wiser to use an aftermarket block? buying up lots of blocks etc... you might find most are too weak to build sister engines to what you have. i looked at a few blocks before i found one that passed the sonic test to build a stroker for racing & i killed that too. an aftermarket block is stronger & as i found, cheaper in the long term.

I don't think Michael will have much trouble shifting the blocks and autos. There is a a fairly good market for 400 and 440 strokers with edelbrock heads and stealth heads.

440 source is big over here, even small block people are making the change.

Thats exactly it Rob these are for the average bloke here that wants to step up to the Big Block. I will build them a short block to complete engine and a modified box to suit.
For me personally when mine calls it a day I will be going the World Aluminum block and more power.

Aren't there any aftermarket blocks available? As was said, stock blocks aren't up to the 850 HP task.

Here in Australia aftermarket blocks do not exist and even if you could find one the supplier wants a million dollars plus a kidney.
These factory blocks will be used for lower power applications.
