I am putting my wife's motor together and I'm using BCR caps and girdle. Was going to use a mildon tray but it will need major cutting to work as the pump pickup will hit the tray. Should I just hack away? Do I still need one as the pan is lower on the motor. Whats everyone using? Thanks, Jim

440 source tray, Milodon low profile pan, and modified Milodon deep pan pickup.
The windage tray is wah deeper than it needs to be, and i did have to make clearance holes for the girdle to main studs, and around the internal pickup tube. The longer, deep pan, pickup tube was heated and gently bent to clear the girdle and girdle stud, then heated and bent to get the correct depth to the bottom of the oil pan.

I'm not clear on exactly where your interference areas are. My experiance is that you don't need a stroker windage tray with a girdle. The standard tray will clear the spinny stuff. Maybe the std tray will afford you more PU/tray clearance.

A stock windage tray will clear the crank and rods, but still need some modification. It would be the war to go if using the stock style "hemi" oil pan.

The 440 source windage tray IS too deep to use with the stock "hemi" type oil pan, so make sure the windage tray works with the oil pan you plan to use.

Thanks for the help. My mildon is a match to the one pictured above. and it was hitting the pickup when I tried installing it. I had a stock mopar tray so I cut it to fit and Ill use it. Again, Thanks.
