As long as I do both ends and the sleeve, I can swap up to the bigger setup, right? No problems with the fit of the tapered studs?

MAY have to shorten the sleeves to match the ones you're replacing (just eyeball them) and actually the more thread engagement you get the better as long as it'll let you adj for the slight toe in and other than that as said it bolts/fits perfect.
