How much flow does the CNC work show @ .600-.650 lift? How does that translate in horsepower gain? ...With a little suspension work, sounds like a high-10-second ride!
Here is the flow sheet from a set of standard port window MCH CNC Edelbrock RPM heads we purchased.

It really will depend on how extensively ported the heads are now. If Dwayne spent a lot of time with them hand porting them, I doubt Jeff's CNC program will improve it much, if any at all. That's not a shot at Jeff's program in any way, it's just that Dwayne is a very accomplished wedge head porter and there's only so much that can be done. If the heads are just touched up, then there could be significant gains @.600-.700 lift.

Randy,
In the Fall 2007 Engine Masters Magazine, Steve Dulcich dyno'ed a simple 448" motor back to back with stock RPM heads vs Modern Cylinder Head CNC RPM heads.
At 6000-rpm peak, he gained 46 HP with the swap. From 529hp to 574hp His combo: - Speed-Pro-2355 pistons, 10.2 compression - Comp MM Flat tappet cam, 243°/247° @.050, .586/.597 lift, 110°LSA, 106° installed - Comp 1.6 Roller rockers - Victor intake - RS1000 Demon carb - TTI 2-2_1/8 headers.

I guess I missed the "OOTB" comment the first time I read it. As Topbrent mentioned, there's lots to be gained from Jeff's CNC porting over the OOTB heads.

Good luck over there at Jake's Randy.
I've been at 3 different chassis dyno facilities in the area so far, and Jakes is the best to date.
It should be good to compare notes too...although it's been several years since I've been, I still have the paperwork.

Randy, good luck at Jakes. From the pics I've seen that car is a beauty. Let us know how it all works out. I really need to get the Dart Sport scaled and they are real close. I could even drive it there! If you are still down that way after 3pm give me a shout, I'd like to meet you and the "X"!

I use to live 2 blocks from Jakes... over on the Clinton River(Rivervista dr)

Randy, No problem posting some numbers. To understand where they're coming from: At the time it ran the 11.24 in my signature, it was making 488rwhp on a "dynapack 3000" chassis dyno, which bolts to the axle flanges instead of being on tire rollers....a very weird looking setup. Changed carb, intake, headers, exhaust....and was ready for another test but the dynapack guy told me not to come back again (he mainly works with import tuner cars with stick shifts, and he didn't like the torque the high stall converter/big ci combo put into his dyno.....There was a flashing red light on the display that said the torque capacity was at the limit)....So I went to Jakes Dynojet instead where it made 499 rwhp. Never made it back to the track after that. But maybe this weekend it'll finally happen.
