Could someone tell me how to adjust the cable linkage on my pro stick. I just put my new motor and my old 727 back in and it dosen't seem to want to go in 3rd gear.

generally..i put the trans in neutral..and put the shifter in neutral...move the swivel around to drop into lever on trans..

i move the shifter thru the gears and check the swivel at each point..

also where the cable bolts to the bracket that is mounted to the pan...like to be in the middle of the treads on it..

It shouldnt matter, does the trans have the correct bracket? Put it in low or high if using a Reverse Valve Body and adjust it up.

The bracket is correct I just got done swapping engines and I had the tranny out also. I have a Reverse valve body. So I take it by pushing the gear selector on the side of the tranny al the way forward that would be high gear?
