hey, these are the brand names that the shop im looking at, uses on their rebuilds...unless i supply my own... i hadnt heard of them before, but has anyone got any input on King bearings and Victor gaskets?

good? bad? indifferent? better or worse than, say, clevite bearings, or felpro gaskets? just to throw some names around.

Those parts work fine for a street car. I built several engines around them.

King bearings are about the same as Clevite. Victor head gaskets are not as good as FelPro.

Never used King bearings, but Victor gaskets were made Locally in Cicero Il, until Dana bought them in the mid 70s.. building gone now.
I think Victor is still part of the Dana/ Spicer/ Wix group of companies and make a quality product.

I've used King bearings in the Oz 265 Hemis...no complaints

VICTOR OR VICTOR REINS is standard for all mopars now or atleast they where when i was working at a local dealership.
