Ok, you would probably want a 67 RO/WO style scoop, direct bolt on to your 66. There are a few sources.

In steel (which is what originals were) If you don't mind waiting I believe you can still have Domingo in Lima Peru get have his body guy to make one for you www.playbackauto.com. These are the same ones I used to sell for $799.00, very high quality, I believe they are more $ now.

Next source would be Joe Coal "The Tynman" in Michigan.E-mail Joe at or call 419.215.7270 again, hand made, high quality, about $1,500.00, usually about 60 days waiting time based on what some of his customers told me. I don't have his contact info. handy.

Next would be Kramers, his are very nice fiberglass replicas, under $300.00, currently on back order.

All of the above bolt on.

I bought a Kramer scoop for my '67 Belvedere and like it. The paint's pretty faded (believe it's original) so I just had the scoop and hood painted black. Got the hood from a guy parting out a '66 Belvedere, they're the same part.

Just installed a fibeglass repro from AAR Quality Fiberglass.
They shipped it within a reasonable time (approx 2 weeks) and it fit great.
My only gripe is certain molded-on mounting studs should be longer, particularly the rear studs.
Now I have to get a hole saw out to open up the area wherethere is double walled/reinforced metal.

Had it color matched by a local shop and looks great! I have yet to see another one on this small island I live on

I got the one for my '65 from Sled City in Ohio. Fit was great. My painter had it easy. They also have the scoop for your car.

Sorry no phone #.
About 3 years ago the price was $96.00 including shipping.
The nice thing about it is that it has the same contour lines moulded into it as the 66 hood has.
I think it is a MUCH better option for a 66 hood rather than the 67 RO/WO hood scoop and much less expensive than the rediculous prices being thrown out here.
